Connie adopted by Shena, Georgiana and her family, wearing traditional Pentecost clothes and musical instruments.
we - the parkes family used to live in blenheim - dairy farming a few hundred cows. then back in '97 went to the bible college of new zealand, after completing a BMin we moved to dunedin for two years where jon did a DipMin, then four years in tauranga where jon was a rev at st. columba, otumoetai. in 06 & 07 we lived in vanuatu on santo island where jon taught english and was the accountant for talua ministry training centre. in 08 we moved to richmond, nelson where jon was the minister at st. david’s presbyterian church on florence st. and now is the minister at whakatu presbyterian (a new presbyterian church for the nelson & districts area) and vivienne volunteers as an ambulance officer (EMT) for st. john. at the same time we have 1500 blueberry plants, cookie & zoro our cats, red our calf and gypsy our border collie - plus some laying hens.
